Create Connection in adtribute
Open the adtribute App.
Go to "Connections" and click on "Create Connection".
Search for "LinkedIn Ads" and select it.
Name the Connection as you like, e.g. the Account Name.
Before going through Connection Process you have to confirm that you have implemented the UTM Parameters that are shown.
Implement UTM Parameter
adb_ad_source=linkedin&adb_ad_id={{CREATIVE_ID}}
For LinkedIn Ads the UTM Parameter need to be implemented on Account Level:
Login to your Ad Account
Go to the Campaign Manager
In the sidebar navigate to "Account settings" > "URL parameters"
Implement the copied adtribute "UTM Parameter" into the "Account-level parameters" field (do not add a "?" at the beginning - LinkedIn does that automatically)
LinkedIn Ads Connection Flow
To start the connection flow simply click "Connect":
Log in to your LinkedIn Account that is connected to the Ad Account.
Authorize.
Select the relevant Ad Account.
Select the attribution settings as you like.
Select the "Historical Sync Time Frame" you need - the default setting is 3 months.
Lastly, click "Save & Test".
It will validate for a short while and tell you if the Connection was successful.
Complete Connection
After the successful Connection Flow it will redirect you back to the adtribute app and you can find the LinkedIn Ads Connection within all of your Connections.
