Kit (ConvertKit)

How to connect Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to adtribute.

You need to follow these steps for each Kit account you wish to connect:

Create Connection in adtribute

  1. Open the adtribute App.

  2. Go to "Connections" and click on "Create Connection".

  3. Search for "Kit" (formerly "ConvertKit") and select it.

  4. Name the Connection as you like, e.g. the Account Name.

Now you need to get the API Key from Kit.

Retrieve API Key from Kit

  1. Login to Kit (kit.com).

  2. Open your account menu and go to "Settings".

  3. In the sidebar, select "Developer".

  4. On the "API Keys" page, go to the "V3 Key (Legacy)" section.

  5. In the popup simply name the key "adtribute" and click "Create API Key".

  6. Copy "Your API Key" using the "Copy" button.

Complete Connection

Paste the key into the adtribute connection and just click on "Next". The Connection is verified, it will load for a short bit and tell you on the bottom right if the Connection was successful and show up within your Connections.
