Important Definitions & Concepts

  • A landing page is simply the first URL your customer sees after clicking on your marketing campaign - think of it as their entry point to your store

    • When you use "first touch attribution," we're looking at the very first interaction a customer had with your store through that landing page

  • Cross filtering lets you slice and dice your data - for example, looking at landing page performance specifically for Meta ads

  • RPUs tells you how much revenue you're making per user visiting your landing page

  • AOV shows you the average amount customers spend when purchasing through a specific landing page

How To Use The Report

  • Start by picking your timeframe - how far back do you want to analyze your data?

  • Choose how you want to attribute your sales - first touch is good if you want to see which landing pages bring in new customers

  • Use the cross filter to narrow down specific channels - this helps you understand what works where

  • Want to know what people are buying? Just click on any landing page to see its product sales

  • Keep an eye on the trends graph to see if your landing page performance improves or declines over time

  • Compare how the same landing page performs across different marketing channels

Insights You Can Generate

  • See which landing pages are your star performers across all marketing efforts

  • Discover if certain landing pages work better on Meta vs Google Ads

  • Understand exactly which products sell best through each landing page

  • Track how well your landing pages convert visitors into customers

  • Monitor how much revenue each visitor brings on average

  • Spot performance changes over time to catch issues early

  • Learn which version of similar landing pages performs better

Practical Applications

  • Put more of your budget into landing pages that consistently perform well

  • Make smart improvements to landing pages based on what the data tells you

  • Create product bundles that match what's already selling well on specific pages

  • Forecast your sales more accurately when you adjust your marketing spend

  • Match your best landing pages with the right marketing channels

  • Test different landing pages against each other to find winning combinations

  • Make confident decisions about where to spend your marketing budget
