Configuration

Adjusting Size

  • Click edit button and select the component

  • Drag and drop to reposition on the grid

  • Resize outer shell by hovering over border and dragging

  • Resize chart itself to eliminate white space

    • Ensure axes are not cut off when resizing

Changing Dimensions

  • Two types: date-based and breakdown

  • Date dimensions: date, week, month, quarter

  • Use drill down functionality to switch between date dimensions

    • Set default drill down level to match desired initial view

  • Breakdown dimension further divides metric (e.g., by channel or shipping country)

Changing Metrics

  • Choose a metric important to your business

  • Use summed up KPIs (e.g., gross revenue, net revenue, CM1, CM2)

    • Avoid metrics that can't be stacked (e.g., CAG)

  • Sort breakdown dimension by metric in descending order for better visibility

Advanced Configurations

  • Add optional metrics for flexibility in data analysis

  • Use 100% stacking option to display percentage share instead of absolute values

  • Adjust number of series to control how many categories are displayed individually

    • Group less significant categories into "Others" line

How To Use It

Drill-Down Functionality

  • Use arrow up and down keys to switch between date granularity

  • Based on configured dimensions in the chart

  • Example:

    • Arrow up: moves from day to week to month

    • Arrow down: moves from month to week to day

Optional Metrics Feature

  • Allows viewing multiple KPIs in a single chart

  • Access optional metrics via dedicated icon

    • Click on desired metric to switch view

  • Metrics can be added in chart configuration

Cross Filtering Functionality

  • Filtering in one component affects all components in the report

    • Example: Selecting 'paid ads' filters data across all charts

  • Works bidirectionally: date selection in chart filters other components
