Time-based analysis of one or multiple KPIs. Example: Gross Revenue development over time.

What It Looks Like

Configuration

Positioning & Sizing

  • Press edit button in top right corner

  • Click and drag component to reposition on grid

  • Resize outer component and inner graph separately by hovering over the borders and dragging

    • Ensure important information isn't cut off when resizing

Dimensions

  • Only date-based dimensions available (day, week, month, quarter, year)

  • Drill down functionality activated by default

  • Use arrow keys to switch between dimensions

  • Set default drill down level for page reload

Metrics

  • Configure one or multiple metrics

  • Replace default metric by clicking and searching

  • Be aware of different scales when using multiple metrics

Double-Axis Functionality

  • Resolve scale issues by creating a double-axis graph

  • In style section, choose between left and right axis for each series

    • Adjust sizing to accommodate double axis

Breakdown Dimension

  • Works only with a single metric

  • Breaks down data further (e.g., by marketing channels)

Comparison Date Range

  • Add previous period for trend analysis

  • Select comparison date range (e.g., previous period)

  • Automatically displays graph for comparison

How To Use It

Drill-Down Functionality

  • Multiple date range dimensions available in time series charts

  • Use arrow keys to quickly switch between dimensions (e.g., date, week, month, year)

  • Allows easy navigation between different time granularities

Cross Filter Functionality

  • Click on specific data point to filter entire dashboard

  • Drag to select a date range for filtering

  • Filtering works both ways (from chart to other components and vice versa)
