Dimension Single-Select sorted by Metric

Filter your data by a specific dimension to select a single value, sorted by relevance. Example: Analyzing one specific channel.

Configuration

Adjusting Size

  • Press edit button in top right corner

  • Click on the component

  • Can drag and drop to move component around the grid

  • Can change size by expanding the border

  • Recommended size is 4 by 1 for filter components

Changing Dimensions

  • Configure the control field

  • Allows selection of dimension to filter

    • Example: choose channel instead of bucket

  • Whenever changing the control field make sure to enter a default selection, otherwise the component breaks

Changing Metrics

  • Select a metric to sort the list

  • Helps show most important results at the top

    • Example: change from gross revenue to net revenue

    • List ordered by selected metric in descending order

Advanced Configurations

  • Other advanced configurations are not needed

How To Use It

Using the Single Select Filter

  • Click on the desired dimension value to apply the filter

  • Only one value can be selected at a time

  • Data changes immediately after selection

Searching Within the Filter

  • Useful when there are many dimension values

  • Type in specific results to find desired values quickly
