Analyze one KPI across 2 different dimensions. Example: Cohort Report analyzing the extension of your retention metric broken down by month.

What It Looks Like

Configuration

Adjusting Size

  • Press edit button in top right corner

  • Click and drag component to move it on the grid

  • Hover over border and dragging it to resize component

  • Change column sizes by hovering over column borders and dragging them

    • Dimension columns (e.g. week, month) need to be resized separately

Changing Dimensions

  • Row dimension breaks down data by first type of dimension

    • Can add multiple dimensions

    • Enable expand/collapse feature and set default expand level

  • Column dimension further breaks down data

    • Can add up to two dimensions in column

    • Can change sorting order of column dimensions

Changing Metrics

  • Add multiple metrics to show for all dimensions

    • Can add or remove metrics as needed

    • Change sorting of metrics

Advanced Configurations

  • Show totals: column totals, row totals, subtotals

  • Sorting: sort rows by metric KPI or dimension

  • Custom number formatting:

    • compact format, decimal precision

    • Visual cues: heat map or bar to show performance

How To Use It

Navigation and Data Viewing

  • Rows and columns auto-expand based on the amount of values

  • Scroll horizontally and vertically to view all data

  • Table can be expanded to show more rows

Expand and Collapse Feature

  • Use the plus (+) button to expand to the next dimension

  • First dimension is always visible

  • Can expand multiple levels of dimensions

  • Option to set default expansion level to show all dimensions

  • Minus (-) button hides dimensions when not needed

Cross-Filter Functionality

  • Filtering in one component affects other components in the report (bi-directionally)

  • Example: Selecting a specific column (e.g., Germany) filters data in other tables

  • Deselecting or resetting a filter restores full data view
