Overview

The data export feature allows you to download any table or graph from your adtribute reports directly to CSV files or Google Sheets. This gives you flexibility to analyze your data in your preferred tools, share insights with stakeholders, or integrate adtribute data into your existing workflows.

You can export data exactly as you see it—with all your applied filters, drill-downs, and customizations preserved. Whether you need a quick channel performance snapshot or a detailed daily breakdown with custom metrics, you can export it with a few clicks.

Loom Tutorial

Exporting a Table or Graph

  1. 1. Filter your data as needed (e.g., select specific channels like Meta Ads, apply date ranges, or drill down to campaign level)

  2. 2. Ensure you're in view mode (not edit mode)

  3. Click the dots icon on the table or graph top right

  4. Click Export data

  5. Choose your export format:

    1. CSV - Downloads a file to your computer

    2. Google Sheets - Creates a new Google Sheet with your data

The exported data will match exactly what you see on screen, including all filters and drill-downs you've applied.

Customizing Data Before Export

If you want to modify the dimensions or metrics in a table before exporting, you'll need to edit the report. To avoid affecting your main report, follow these steps:

  1. Request a copy of your report from the adtribute team (this ensures nothing breaks in your main report)

  2. Open your copied report in edit mode

  3. Customize your table:

    1. Drag dimensions like Date, Month, or Week into your table to change the breakdown level

    2. Add metrics (e.g., CTR, conversion rate) by dragging them into the table

  4. Switch back to view mode

  5. Apply any additional filters you need

  6. Export your customized table using the export capability described above

Common Use Cases

  • Daily performance reports: Add a Date dimension to your table to export day-by-day performance data for trend analysis.

  • Monthly summaries: Use the Month dimension to export aggregated monthly performance across all channels or specific campaigns.

  • Channel comparison exports: Filter to specific advertising platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.) and export for stakeholder reports.

  • Custom metric analysis: Add specific metrics like CTR, CPC, or ROAS to tables before exporting for in-depth analysis in Excel or Google Sheets.

Important Notes

  • Always work in a copied report when making structural changes to tables or graphs. Contact the adtribute team to create a copy of your report before editing.

  • You must be in view mode to access the export option. If you're editing a report, click back to view mode first.

  • Exports capture the current state of your table or graph, including all active filters and date ranges.
