Source Attribute

For each definition type, it is possible to configure a “Source” attribute. The purpose of this attribute is to reference an already existing attribute under a new name. To add a new Source attribute:

1. Go to Definitions › Attributes, click Add Attribute and select the Definition Type (for attributes of Events and Entities: Sources › Events or Sources › Entities, tab Attributes, Create Attribute)
2. Select the relevant aggregation type
3. Select the relevant data type
4. Choose “Source” as the configuration type
5. Select the attribute you want to reference under a new name in Source Attribute
6. Add a name
7. Add a description (on Definitions › Attributes in the Metadata section, after the first save)
8. Click the Save button
